Scripture: Ruth 2

During my studies I read in the book of Ruth the 2nd Chapter and found Ruth being in a land where she was considered to be a foreigner. Foreigner means “somebody who comes from another country”. When I thought about her being deemed a foreigner, I could only imagine the dilemmas of culture traditions and thoughts, dialect, attitude and even attire that she may have come in contact with.

Whatever the case may have been, she still did not allow those very visible issues to stop her from pressing forth in her goal for more. Ruth exemplified diligence to the fullest. The bible states that when Boaz asked who she was, the foreman said, “She is the foreigner that came with Naomi and she has been gleaning from sun up and only braked for a moment.”   Now, I can’t believe that she was the only foreigner that was in that field; nor that it was not crowed in that particular field.  I believe that because of her determination it showed up in favor.

We in the body of Christ are looking and desiring for the favor of God, but not gleaning with diligence in the field of God. When God sees that we have stirred up the spirit of diligence towards his Kingdom work is when the spirit of FAVOR will start to attract the promises and blessings of God.

God is asking us how much determination have we put towards our goal in Him?

Prayer:  Lord, I pray that you will stir the spirit of determination up in my sprit. Lord, I bind all laziness, unfocused and most of all procrastination in my life and also in those connected to me. Father, I lose a greater level of determination and diligence in me that will attract your FAVOR in my life.   In the Name of Jesus I pray …. Amen

God Bless

In the Spirit

In a fast-paced world filled with endless hurdles and distractions, staying committed to your purpose requires extreme focus. There are many success stories of ordinary people who followed the path of diligence to reach personal and professional heights they never believed were possible. Reaching your personal and professional goals can be much easier when you remain diligent in your efforts to achieve success.

Your reward depends upon your diligence, and your diligence is motivated by your faith.  “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6.
