“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.” Princess Diana
Hello Woman On The Rise,
I was sitting here thinking about how children immediately after Thanksgiving start with their list for Santa or even for mom and dad. They are looking in ads and watching every commercial to see what would be the best gift to put on their list for Christmas. One thing I have noticed is that they are not looking at prices nor are they trying to see how or where it is located. They just want what they want, and they believe that if they put it on their list, there is a great chance it will come to pass. God started speaking to me about the expectation of a child. They have put all of their trust and faith in believing that if they put the items they want on a list then they are waiting to receive exactly what they have listed. I thought to myself, God why it that children know the power of expectation. He told me this:
- Expectation comes with total reliance.
- Expectation has no limits and
- Expectation speaks with great anticipation of a return.
I want to challenge each of you this year to adopt the expectation of a child and expect God to fulfill the promises in which He has already told you. Trust God with all your mind, body and soul that they are in total reliance of God.
I challenge you to raise your level of expectation. Reach for the very stars in God and wherever He decides to allow you to land will be the destiny for your life.
I challenge you to walk, talk and live with EXPECTATION. There is a quote that people used to say to me, “Chicken Little Chicken little what’s fallen from the sky.” My reply to that quote is “everything that God has in store for me!”
I say to you keep looking up because what you are expecting from God will surely come to pass.
Read: Psalms 62:5-7
My, soul waits thou only upon God: for my expectation is from Him. 6. He only, is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved. 7. In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. NKJV

Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth, “You owe me.” Look what happens with a love like that. It lights the whole sky. Hafiz of Persia
