In getting my business off the ground, I never thought of the need to have a successor in place. But your points are well taken. I've been following your blog. I am so impressed.

I love this article because I read a lot of personal stories and they tend to focus a little bit on the before, very little on the current and sky rocket to the success. They forget that people have whole experiences and if you want someone to clearly understand the impact of your struggle to arrive at your success then they need to know some of the challenges that you needed to overcome to arrive at your destination. There is nothing worst to me to get a slight glimpse of what may have happened and try to figure out all the lessons learned along the way before I admire the success of an individual. Now, unless you're born with a silverspoon you have had to struggle somewhere along the way to becoming the success you are today.
