Della: Thank you Sylvia. It is an honor! My name is Della A. Beaver and I am the mother of two, grandmother of two, sister, aunt, friend and the CEO of A Tru Diva, LLC.  A Tru Diva’s LLC is an Image Consulting Company whose mission is to empower women to discover their Tru Diva, within and without and giving them the tools to live their life with passion, on purpose and out loud.

I believe that A Tru Diva is a woman who walks in her Divineness, both inside and out. A Tru Diva dares to create possibilities, believes in herself and chases her dreams without permission from anyone. A Tru Diva lets the world know that she is here to get what belongs to her. Her mantra to herself each day goes something like this: Got your Swag? Got your “I Can Do This” Attitude? Got your Tru Divaness? Got your Smart, Sexy, Fabulousity? Check, Check, Check and Check!! In addition, I am also a published author. My book, A Tru Diva: Living Your Life with Passion and Purpose is a compilation of motivational and inspirational posts that empower women to live their Lives with Passion, Purpose and Out Loud. I am the host of Smart, Sexy, Fabulous Blogtalk Radio Show which airs every Tuesday from 6:30 PM to 7PM EST.

Della: It is creating the life I deserve.

Sylvia: How do you give back to your community?

Della: I am on the board of advisors and give my time to Women Still Standing, a non-profit organization whose mission is offer quality activities and resources for quality women who want quality lives, by forming strategic local and national partnerships and alliances of key industries. We exist to educate, empower, elevate and edify all women – specifically women in transition, entrepreneurs, and professionals, ages 25 – 65.

I serve as Chairperson of The Entrepreneurial 10th, which is a Peer Networking Group in Chester, Pennsylvania. Our Mission is to enhance personal and business growth and opportunities! Our goal is to encourage and motivate our communities through programs that promote economic growth and development.

In addition, I serve as a mentor to women who are in the process of starting their own business or who want to create a life they deserve.

Sylvia: How do you create work/life balance?

Della: I make sure that I schedule in my calendar time for me, my family and my business.

Sylvia: What tips can you share with women business owners?

Della: Sure, I have 3 tips to share:

• Tip 1 is to make sure that you are living your passion and purpose. If you don’t know what it is, then take some time out and find out.
• Tip 2 is to realize that we all have fears, but fight your way through the fear and do it anyway!
• Tip 3 is that You Should Always Put Yourself Where You See Yourself, which simply means to surround yourself with people who support and motivate you to achieve higher ground.
